If I'm mainly using this account as a favoriting machine I'll make it easier for myself and anyone else who finds their way here to navigate around. I'll be adding more folders to specify more series/fandoms.

In other news, my father recently found files from my old Vista computer I used around ~2010-2014 (aka the time I actually used this dA account). Many of those images can be found uploaded to this account already but there were some on there I forgotten about. I shared a sample of what was in there that can be found in this Tumblr post:

For stuff that isn't over a decade old (yet) I also have a series I started on Newgrounds (and recently ported to Tumblr) called "Digging Through WIPs". This series was started so I can share drawings I never got around to finishing. The Tumblr post has a list of all the posts I've done in this series as of writing this:

Part of me is sad this account as become a corpse after I was so excited to finally have one a decade ago, but at least it's still here now to support those who continue to use this website.

Edit: I made this post before dA went down an AI spiral; I'll wait and see what happens with that before making a decision. This account holds a lot of my earlier internet memories so I don't want to deactivate it.

This account has been sitting dormant for years now; I only visit Deviantart itself on occasion to look at and favorite art. I'm posting this to see if there's any interest in me posting here again. I've thought of setting up PostyBirb to make it easier to post stuff here, my Tumblr, Reddit and Newgrounds simultaneously but I haven't had the time to (or rather i've been too lazy to sign into all my accounts through the app). Not being on Twitter* is a blessing but it also disconnects me from artists that are there. Curious if there are people who only use/follow me here as they don't use other sites.

*I still view twitter without an account so i'm not completely free from it

To be honest, I don't feel like posting here anymore. I'll still keep my account up for archive purposes of course, but the clash of my 2012-2014 art and my 2018-2021 art is kinda jarring. Tumblr is still my main social media and despite its increase in nagging i still won't join Twitter.

UPDATE: I have now made a Newgrounds Account - it will replace dA as my secondary place to post art. It is not likely I'll post here again but I'll keep it up for archival purposes.

This is kinda stating the obvious, but I clearly haven't been active on Deviantart for a long time. However, I do not plan on deactivating or anything. Instead, I shall leave my page up as a historical/time capsule of sorts. My personal life is a huge, jumbled mess and managing my various internet accounts is not something I should be focusing on. Tumblr has become my go-to due to ease of access on my phone, but even then I haven't gotten used to posting my own stuff that often. Reddit is another place I'll continue to lurk for the most part, maybe pop out for a snarky comment if I feel daring. I have a Pixiv account I was gonna use after Tumblr banned adult content but the prominent language barrier and lack of confidence have relegated it to another site I just lurk. Making a Newgrounds account is still on my backburner; perhaps when I get more into animation...
